The Integrative Holistic Health Program at SaJune is our most powerful and comprehensive method of assessing your current health status and creating a plan of natural health and healing that is right for your needs and your top goals.

Our belief is that you have the ability to heal yourself, when given the knowledge, tools, love and encouragement to return the body to its natural state. Our 90-day programs are based on the “5 point model,”—a protocol developed by Medical Director, Dr. Sangeeta Pati. This program aims to help you to optimize the body’s function, so it can do what it is supposed to do; which is to keep you healthy, happy and free of disease by addressing 5 main areas—hormones, nutrition, toxins, mind and body.  These protocols have been taught to thousands of doctors around the U.S., who have successfully helped thousands of patients reverse disease over 15 years.

Who is the perfect candidate ?

Any person, of any age who is interested and committed to help their body function optimally. The earlier we start this program, the better you feel and the better reversal of existing conditions. We encourage parents to use this program to help their children stay healthy.

What to expect at your consult ?

Prior to your visit, you will be asked to fill a Self-assessment Questionnaire and identify your top 3 goals. During your consult, your wellness coach will explain a little bit about each area of the 5-point model and what you can personally do in each area to get started on living your best life ever. A major part of your initial consult will be an assessment of your individual situation and a Physical Assessment (measuring baseline weight, body fat, muscle mass, hydration, metabolic age, physique rating and heart rate variability). You will leave with a copy of your Physical Assessment results and your personalized 90-day Integrative Holistic Health Plan based on the 5-point Model and your top 3 goals. Our expert coach is available to assist you in achieving your goals in the 90-day program.

Key Components of The Integrative Holistic Health Coaching Program

While each program is individualized your specific needs, some of key educational components of most programs include: nutritional counseling, metabolic balance and insulin resistance coaching (if applicable), intermittent fasting, detoxification, stress management and exercise recommendations.

Nutritional Counseling Programs

Nutritional factors play a pivotal role in curing and preventing disease. Our approach to nutritional replacement is to teach guidelines to a healthful diet and replace only what is deficient with the most natural, bio-available forms using only the finest of clinical supplementation. We use advanced diagnostic tests to identify vitamin, mineral, amino acid and anti-oxidant deficiencies. We then tailor supplementation specifically to your body’s needs, often using individually compounded formulations. In addition to providing you with nutritional counseling and therapy, we can also help you reach your weight loss goals through our comprehensive diets.

Our nutrition program is focused on three major areas as shown in the diagram below:


Measurement of Your Nutritional Status

Many people work to improve their health through diet, exercise and supplementation, yet still may have deficiencies. This can be due to a variety of factors including biochemical individuality, absorption, chronic illness, aging, and lifestyle. We know that 50% of people taking multi-vitamins are still nutritionally deficient. Being deficient in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants can suppress the functions of the immune system as well as affect one’s overall health and probability for development of disease. At SaJune, we can uncover these deficiencies and address them through a micronutrient blood test. SpectraCell Laboratories developed their exclusive, patented micronutrient tests to measure the function of selected vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other essential micronutrients within your white blood cells. Analysis can reveal a person’s functional nutrient status over a much longer time period than conventional serum testing.

The Food You Eat

Of course, the food we eat must be considered and addressed when working toward optimal health. Our nutrition programs are run by a certified health and nutrition coach who works closely with your medical provider to ensure recommendations are given to you based on your individualized medical plan. Each of our nutrition programs includes detailed education on the basic principles of nutrition including:

  • How to read labels
  • How to dine out
  • How to go grocery shopping
  • How do meal preparation

Plant Based Nutrition Program

Plant-based is not to say “vegetarian” or “vegan,” but a diet consisting of MOSTLY plants has been shown to be the best way to prevent and correct degenerative disease. Scientific data from the last 2 decades is shows that a predominantly plant-based diet (raw or cooked), improves overall health as well as a drastic improvement in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, eczema and psoriasis. We are also aware that correcting the immune system in cancer patients requires this kind of diet.

The coaching program will aim to enrich your diet with organic plant foods and superfoods by teaching you ways to incorporate more of these into your lifestyle by reducing meat, fish, dairy, eggs, processed and refined foods (which increase acidity) and replacing them with vegetables, whole grains, beans and nuts, seeds, sprouts and sea vegetables that provide nutrition at a cellular level. The general philosophy is “if man made it don’t eat it!” Instead, we focus on all the foods we CAN have rather than what we cannot have. The aim is to balance the body’s pH level so cellular energy and repair is optimized. An acidic internal environment contributes to internal inflammation, which leads to diseases and cancers. Eliminating these foods from the diet balances the pH within the body which leads to a healthier internal environment.

Some of the concepts you will learn and/or experience are:

  • The data that supports plant-based nutrition
  • The best sources of plant-based protein and where you get them
  • Recipes that will allow you to maintain your essential amino acids and are delicious
  • Recipes bursting with anti-oxidant/anti-inflammatory value based on data

If necessary, a 100% plant-based 7-day detox may be desired or necessary to correct various conditions and improve health at an accelerated rate. Your coach will guide you on whether or not this a good step for you and at what point in your program you can attempt a 7 day veggie cleanse.

Our belief is that superfoods should be a part of every patient’s diet for optimal vitality and health. This is an important element of health that is interwoven into all of our nutritional program as we understand the nutritional power of including superfoods in the daily diet.

Superfood Your Diet

“Superfoods” are those vegetables, fruits, seeds and nuts which contain a dense abundance of phytonutrients and anti-oxidants greatly exceeding the values in common vegetables and fruits. These are better described in the book “Superfoods” by David Wolfe. Examples of powerful superfoods include aloe, maca, cacao, goji, bee pollen, spirulina, blue-algae, hempseed, marine phytoplankton and coconut. These foods are raw and generally contain proteins and essential nutrients that cannot be obtained from a traditional diet. Superfoods actively work to maintain a healthy immune system and to mount healthy immune responses. With a well-chosen, organic-based diet containing raw, plant-based fresh materials provided by superfoods, we stand a chance to improve our health in a way that has never been available in the past. 

Although everyone should incorporate as many superfoods as possible into their diet for optimal vitality and health, anyone with chronic degenerative disease such as hypertension, arthritis, osteoporosis, heart disease, cancer will benefit from the regenerative capacities of superfoods.​

With a diet rich in plants and superfood, you can expect increased alkalinity in the body, reduced inflammation and body aches, improved metabolic profile ( lower cholesterol, insulin, glucose and natural weight loss), improvement in all symptoms of degenerative disease.

Metabolic Balance/Insulin Resistance Counseling

Through lifestyle modification, we will aim to optimize yourmetabolism and return weight, body fat, and muscle-mass to optimal ranges. “Metabolic balance” gives you back your shape, lowers cholesterol and controls diabetes and pre-diabetes. Just like every other disease, excess body fat and weight gain are a result of imbalances in hormones, nutrition, mind and body and the presence of toxins in the bowel and liver. Through lifestyle technique and eating a plentiful and varied diet, we will aimto mobilize stubborn fat which is resistant to calorie restriction and exercise, as well as optimize detoxification.

Those struggling with weight, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, or diabetes, that are interested in a slow and controlled approach to overall health, are good candidates for this program. Typical weight loss can range from 5-20 pounds. Patients also report a higher level of energy, a flatter belly, better digestion, less bloating, and less fatigue.

Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting is a term for an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. It does not say anything about which foods you should eat, but rather when you should eat them. In this respect, it is not a “diet” in the conventional sense. It is more accurately described as an “eating pattern.” Common intermittent fasting methods involve daily 16 hour fasts, or fasting for 24 hours, twice per week.

Humans have been fasting throughout evolution. Sometimes it was done because food was not available, and it has also been a part of major religions, including Islam, Christianity and Buddhism. Our hunter-gatherer ancestors didn’t have supermarkets, refrigerators or food available year-round and yet were healthier that Americans are today.  They often went for long periods time of time without food while looking for their next food source. In fact, fasting from time to time is more “natural” than constantly eating 3-4 (or more) meals per day.

Toxins such as plastics, heavy metals, pesticides, and chemicals can cause diseases such as heart disease, arthritis and cancer. Through careful history, advanced laboratory diagnostic testing we are able to identify toxicity and create a gentle yet powerful personalized detoxification regimen.

In the U.S. we are exposed daily to 50 times the level of toxins (i.e. chemicals, pesticides, water contaminants, food preservatives, heavy metals, air quality, plastics, fumes and electromagnetic radiation) compared to other developed countries. These toxins lodge in the bowel, liver, kidneys and especially fat tissue. The toxic build up prevents the normal uptake and utilization of nutrients, hormones, carbohydrates and proteins. It reduces the body’s oxygen uptake and creates an acidic, septic, low-energy state. Toxins also prevent proper activation of hormones, so patients become resistant to hormone therapy.

Your coaching program will assess your exposure to toxins, toxic product use, and symptoms and will help you to reduce these, while using diet and key supplement to rid the body of any toxic build-up that it may be storing.

Stress Management

Stress is universal and can impact us on many levels in a negative way. Your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health is affected by the everyday stressors in your life. It is critical to manage your stress to live a healthy life.

We will partner with you through a step-by-step process of learning self-awareness and simple, effective stress relief techniques. These new habits will empower you with a positive mindset and confidence that you will be able to easily defeat and gain control over mental, emotional, and physical stress in the future.

Our program uses the science of Heart Rate Variability to control stress on a physical level. Since much of our stress can occur on a subconscious level, we will use tools to measure your subconscious stress and give you strategies to control it.

We will also address any other sources of stress which may cause an overall depletion in energy, nutrients, sleep and hormones. These types of stressors can include pain, inflammation, or even intense physical exercise.

Fitness Recommendations and Counseling

The integrative Holistic Health Coaching program is a total body wellness program in which we will address your fitness routine and make recommendations based on your lab values, the symptoms you report, any physical ailments and your body composition goals.

We will perform a body composition test in order to gauge your progress in these areas as you proceed with your program.
